If you’re looking for a martial art for kids, nothing else is like Krav Maga.
We believe that it is extremely important for children to be able to defend themselves, both for their physical safety as well as for their emotional growth.
Everything we teach is what kids could use if they
are in a situation that requires physically defending themselves.
Confident children know they will excel in all other activities and can achieve their goals.
Through training in our classes children develop increased self-discipline, focus and self-confidence while learning to set and achieve goals. As our kids train they also gain self-respect and respect for others.
Our school is unique, we have worked hard to create its strong sense of family.
Students are supportive of each others training and ability.
We have created a school for our kids and adults
that truly is a second home.
Parents, we have a full schedule of Krav Maga classes for you as well!
Krav Maga Federation Kids classes are for children ages 6 – 12.
Children are taught the same Krav Maga material as adults but in an appropriate setting for kids, which includes having fun!
Safely training in class is always a priority.
Teaching a child self defense is an important life skill; our Krav Maga classes give kids the tools to succeed.
Grand Master Rhon Mizrachi teaches the kids program.
He began his own training at the age of 7 under the founder of Krav Maga Imi Lichtenfeld.
Rhon believes in the importance of children learning self defense, their healthy physical growth and personal development.through Krav Maga training.
In addition, his Krav Maga classes emphasize ethical behavior. We teach that " hitting back ", using Krav Maga, is only allowed if a child has no other option.
The art of Krav Maga is strictly for self defense; there are no tournaments or Katas in Krav Maga.
Children train in the proper art, learning techniques of self defense ( ie: releases from chokes and grabs ) as well as a multitude of strikes (punches, kicks, elbows, etc).
The art utilizes the belted, or ranked, system to separate material from basic self defense to very advanced material; students are tested on their knowledge and ability as they move forward in their training.
Krav Maga is perfect for children - we train with just one assumption; that our attackers are bigger, stronger, and have "friends".
We never use power vs. power.
Learning the art of Krav Maga requires dedication and hard work, and training requires both physical and mental concentration- all of which help children in every part of their lives, on and off of the mat.
Our philosophy is that if a child is attacked they have the right to physically defend themselves- and that defending themselves is the only time Krav Maga may be used.
This is the core belief of Krav Maga;
everyone has the right to defend themselves.
